Description
The 3500/33 16-Channel Relay Module is a full-height automation output module for Bently Nevada™ 3500 racks, delivering 16 independent SPDT relay channels in a single rear slot. The 3500/33 16-Channel Relay Module enables large-scale alarm routing and equipment trip control within turbine, compressor, and generator protection systems. Each output of the 3500/33 16-Channel Relay Module executes programmable AND/OR voting logic using Alert, Danger, Not-OK, or measured variables from any rack monitor channel.
The 3500/33 16-Channel Relay Module consumes 5.8 W typical while driving up to 5 A per relay. AC switching capacity reaches 5 A at 250 Vac with 1200 VA maximum power, allowing the 3500/33 16-Channel Relay Module to control high-load annunciators, solenoids, and shutdown circuits. DC ratings include 70 W at 24 Vdc, 10 W at 48 Vdc, 9 W at 60 Vdc, and 125 Vdc maximum. Four groups of four channels can be configured as Normally De-energized or Normally Energized, enabling segmented alarm and trip design. Epoxy-sealed relays with arc suppressors rated at 250 Vrms support repeated alarm switching in automated protection cabinets.
Applications
Drive 16 Shutdown Solenoids at 5 A 250 Vac Load
The 3500/33 16-Channel Relay Module switches up to 5 A at 250 Vac with 1200 VA maximum AC power. This capacity allows the 3500/33 16-Channel Relay Module to directly control multiple turbine or compressor shutdown solenoids without adding external interposing relays.
