Description

The 330880-16-15-020-02-02 PROXPAC XL Proximity Transducer is a fully integrated proximity measurement system designed for precision industrial automation and machinery monitoring. Unlike conventional transducer assemblies, this self-contained unit combines a 3300 XL 8 mm probe with a built-in Proximitor sensor, eliminating the need for extension cables and separate housings. Engineered for high-performance vibration and position measurement, it offers a linear range of 2 mm (80 mils) and a recommended gap setting of 1.27 mm (50 mils), making it ideal for accurate rotor, shaft, and machinery alignment monitoring. The transducer assembly features a durable Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) housing reinforced with glass and conductive fibers, providing enhanced electrostatic discharge protection and mechanical strength. With IP66 and Type 4X ratings, it ensures robust performance in harsh environments, and operating temperatures from –52°C to +100°C (–62°F to +212°F) allow reliability under extreme conditions. The unit accommodates shafts from 50.8 mm to 76.2 mm (2–3 inches) in diameter and supports standard 3/4-14 NPT mounting.
