Description
The BSM C series of servo motors provide higher inertia in an economical package. These motors have a reliable magnetic design, and are used in applications needing higher inertial matching. These rugged motors provide peak torques equal to three times continuous, thus enabling rapid acceleration for the higher inertial demanding applications. Besides a wide variety of feedback devices, other options such as brakes, cooling to extend performance, mounting, shaft, and electrical windings are available for your application needs. We also have stocked motors for immediate delivery for your application needs.
Applications
Food and beverage processing plants: Providing precise motion control for high-speed filling, labeling, palletizing, and packaging lines.
Automotive and parts factories: Integrated into automated assembly lines, welding robots, and conveyor systems for precise position adjustment.
Textile and printing plants: Suitable for constant tension control in winding equipment, shearing machines, and high-speed looms.
Machinery plants (machine tool factories): Serving as feed drives for CNC machine tools, responsible for tool positioning and material handling.
Electronics and semiconductor plants: Providing smooth torque output in silicon wafer handling, assembly, and precision testing equipment.
Packaging and printing plants: Used for tangential control, flying shears, and synchronous drive in flexible packaging printing lines.

FAQ
Q: What is the BSM80C-275AFX?
A: It is a AC servo motor.
Q: Can this BSM80C-275AFX be used with non-ABB drives?
A: Yes. As long as the drive supports resolver feedback and can be configured with the correct motor parameters (pole pairs, resistance, inductance, etc.).
Q: How do I replace the brake of BSM80C-275AFX?
A: The brake is usually integrated inside the motor. It is not recommended for non-professionals to disassemble it themselves. It is recommended to have it repaired at an ABB/Baldor authorized service center to ensure dynamic balance.
Q: What is the difference between the BSM C-series and N-series?
A: The C-series has a more compact design and higher power density; the N-series has a slightly larger moment of inertia, suitable for smoother heavy-load control.
Q: How to Check Price and Availability for BSM80C-275AFX?
A: Please contact John Yang for sales at +86-18150117685 or request a quote.
