Description
The 745-W2-P5-G5-HI-A-L-R-E-H is a powerful transformer management relay designed for the comprehensive protection, monitoring, and management of medium and large power transformers. As a core intelligent unit of the power system, this device not only integrates high-speed differential protection, overcurrent protection, and various time-limited/instantaneous protection logics, but also features an innovative Loss of Life Assessment function, capable of calculating the transformer's health status in real time based on operating load and ambient temperature rise.
Applications
Thermal and hydroelectric power plants: Monitor the status of generator outlet transformers, optimize unit maintenance plans using life assessment functions, and prevent unplanned shutdowns.
Heavy industrial steel plants: Provide precise current and voltage monitoring and overheat protection in high-load cyclic environments such as electric arc furnace transformers.
Large chemical plants: Handle transformer monitoring in complex electromagnetic environments, utilizing its powerful logic programming capabilities to achieve complex load scheduling.
Physical Design and Connectivity
Enhanced Display and Keypad: Features an enhanced, wider display screen and an expanded keypad for easier input and navigation compared to the base model.
Weight and Mounting:
Weighs 18 lbs, 6 oz when in the SR series chassis.
Weighs approximately 10 lbs, 8 oz when removed from the case.
Can be mounted on a standard 19” panel and can accompany another relay unit.
Extensive Connectivity Options: The rear terminal offers numerous and highly configurable connections, including sixteen logic inputs.
Flexible Computer Connection:
The rear RS485/RS422 ports are designed for systems with multiple relays and can easily connect to computers running the EnerVista 745 software.
Alternatively, computers can connect via the front RS232 port for single relay monitoring.
