Description
The DS200SLCCG4AF is designed for GE's Mark V turbine control system, intended for controlling and managing industrial gas and steam turbine systems. The Mark V control system can be configured as a simplex or TMR (Triple Modular Redundancy) system. It is important for customers to know that the DS200SLCC board typically does not include software located in the U6 and U7 EPROMs, as these slots are empty at the factory. If you do not intend to remove the EPROM from your old board to move it to a new one, order a replacement board (DS215 grade) with the EPROM.
The DS200SLCCG4AF board mounts on a bracket on the SDCC board and connects to the keyboard on the card via a KPPL connector.
The DS200SLCCG4AF has a 16-bit alphanumeric display parallel to one edge. Four posts (ST1 to ST4) near the end of this display protect its glass tip. These posts may look like jumpers but should not be confused with jumpers elsewhere on the board. Jumper settings can be modified to change the RS-422 DLNA driver or isolate the DLNA circuitry. In addition, the J19 jumper is used to connect the crystal to the processor.
Applications
Power Generation: This is its primary application area, used for controlling and monitoring large gas turbines (such as the GE Frame 5/6/7/9 series) and steam turbines.
Oil & Gas: Used in power drive systems in liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing plants, refineries, and remote pipeline pumping stations.
Heavy Industrial Manufacturing: Used in large chemical plants or steel mills for managing high-end industrial drives that power large compressors, pump sets, and generators.
Competitive Advantage
Wide Operating Temperature Range – Operates reliably from -40°C to +70°C, ensuring performance in harsh industrial environments.
Flexible Mounting Options – Supports both DIN rail and panel mount configurations, offering easy integration into various turbine control setups.
High Compatibility – Designed for GE Mark V turbine control systems, compatible with both simplex and TMR (Triple Modular Redundancy) architectures, making it versatile for legacy and upgraded systems.
Industrial-Grade Communication Interface – Provides Ethernet connectivity, allowing high-speed and robust communication for turbine monitoring and control.
User-Friendly Display – Features a 16-bit alphanumeric display with protective posts (ST1–ST4) to safeguard the glass tip, enhancing operator interaction without risk of damage.
