Description

133434-01 is a 2-channel I/O Tachometer Module from Bently Nevada 3500 Series designed for industrial automation. The 133434-01 accepts up to two transducer signals from proximity probes or magnetic pickups with an input range of +10 V to -24 V and 20 kΩ input impedance. Each 133434-01 channel provides 24 Vdc, 40 mA transducer power and 4–20 mA recorder output proportional to shaft speed, independent per channel.

The 133434-01 generates alarms when measurements exceed user-programmed setpoints for speed, rotor acceleration, reverse rotation, or zero speed. Buffered outputs via Euro-style connectors allow integration with other automation systems. Front panel LEDs on 133434-01 indicate module operation, communication (TX/RX), and Bypass mode. The module can supply conditioned Keyphasor signals to the 3500 rack backplane, eliminating the need for a separate Keyphasor module. With 0.3662 µA resolution, ±0.25% error at room temperature, and 100 ms update rate, 133434-01 enables precise, real-time rotor monitoring and control.

Application Monitor Shaft Speed and Direction

133434-01 accepts up to two proximity probe or magnetic pickup signals with an input range of +10 V to -24 V and 20 kΩ input impedance. It continuously measures shaft rotation speed, reverse rotation, and rotor acceleration. The module provides 4–20 mA recorder outputs, independent per channel, enabling integration with DCS or PLC systems for real-time automation monitoring.

Application Configure Alarms for Speed and Acceleration

Using 133434-01, engineers can set alarm thresholds for speed, reverse speed, zero speed, and rotor acceleration. With a 100 ms update rate and ±0.25% accuracy at room temperature, the module triggers alarms when setpoints are exceeded. 133434-01 also stores peak speed and reverse rotation values for historical analysis and maintenance planning.

Application Supply Conditioned Keyphasor Signals

133434-01 can output buffered Keyphasor signals to the 3500 rack backplane, supporting other monitors without needing a separate Keyphasor module. Transducer channels are powered at 24 Vdc, 40 mA, ensuring consistent signal delivery to connected devices.
