Description

The T8311C Trusted TMR Expander Interface is a high-reliability communication module designed for use within the Trusted Controller Chassis. It acts as the primary gateway between the internal Inter-Module Bus (IMB) and external Expander Bus networks, enabling scalable multi-chassis system architectures using standard UTP cable connections.

Installation

To install the module:

1. Ensure that the cable assembly is correctly located.

2. Release the ejector tabs on the module using the release key. Ensure that the ejector tabs are fully open.

3. Holding the ejectors, carefully insert the module into the intended slot.

4. Push the module fully home but pressing on the top and bottom of the module fascia.

5. Close the module ejectors, ensuring that they click into their locked position.

A: No. It is dedicated to Trusted T8300 chassis only with proprietary electrical and mechanical interfaces.

Q2Can T8311C use TC-301 copper cable for 50 m rack connection?
A: No. TC-301 is limited to 30 m; longer distances require fiber conversion.

Q3What is the power dissipation of T8311C under full load?
A: It is limited to a maximum of 40W.
