Description
IS200BPVCG1BR1 is a Backplane AsM Board developed by GE as a part of the Speedtronic Mark VI gas turbine control system. This board has been designed to fit into a rack system to support multiple boards. There are twenty-one female backplane connectors on the back portion of this board. The board's second half, which houses the input/output connectors, is intended to be left exposed outside the rack system
Applications
Thermal and hydroelectric power plants: Serving as the core backplane for gas turbine (GT) or steam turbine (ST) control cabinets.

1 This IS200BPVCG1BR1's back half is filled with twenty-one female backplane connectors. When the board is placed in the rack system, it will be surrounded by borders that will support and lock connecting boards into place
2 The other side of the board, which houses the Input/Output connectors, is intended to be visible from outside the rack system. This enables the operator to connect ribbon connections and their wiring to the board with ease. There are 39 I/O connectors that allow data to be sent from and to the boards attached to the backplanes
3 The front of the board, which is populated with I/O connectors, is left more exposed to facilitate ribbon cable connections. On the front part of the device, there are 39 I/O connectors
