Description
The PROXPAC XL Proximity Transducer (330881-28-04-034-06-02) is a high-precision automation sensor designed for industrial machinery monitoring, rotating shaft diagnostics, and predictive maintenance applications. Featuring a 34 mm probe penetration with a 40 mm standoff adapter and an 8 mm 3300 XL probe with multiple approvals, this transducer delivers accurate displacement and vibration measurement for shafts ranging from 50.8 mm to 76.2 mm in diameter. The self-contained PROXPAC XL design integrates the 3300 XL Proximitor sensor directly within the housing, eliminating the need for extension cables or separate Proximitor housings, while allowing direct connection to monitoring systems through 16–24 AWG field wiring.
Constructed from reinforced Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) thermoplastic with glass and conductive fibers, the housing provides enhanced mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and electrostatic discharge mitigation. Rated IP66 and Type 4X, it withstands harsh industrial environments, including dust, moisture, and chemical exposure. Electrical specifications include <2 mV change in output per volt of input variation, 50 Ω output resistance, and a 2 mm linear range with a recommended 1.27 mm gap, making it ideal for turbines, compressors, pumps, and motor-driven equipment in automated industrial settings.
