Description
The IC697ALG321 Analog Input Module is a high-level analog voltage input module from GE Fanuc. It belongs to the Series 90-30 product line of GE PLCs or Programmable Logic Controllers. It allows for both unipolar and bipolar voltage input ranges. The users can also set alarm limits for both ranges such as the alarm high limit or the alarm low limit. The MS-DOS configuration software provides all the facilities needed to configure the module parameters for their hosts systems such as channel configuration, mode selection, alarm settings, range selection, and I/O scan set configuration facilities. The converted analog data is stored on the CPU of the PLC in the 2’s complement format. It also has status bits, which are returned back to the CPU of the PLC to provide data about the module's operation. The IC697ALG321 Analog Input Module has an input filter response frequency of 41 Hertz for the single-ended mode and 82 Hertz for the differential mode. The received data signal will be converted to a digital signal through a 12-bit converter so that it can be processed in the CPU of the PLC.
