Description

The FC-SDOL-0424 is a safety loop monitoring digital output module manufactured by Honeywell. It can directly drive and switch various external electrical loads through its four independent channels. During daily operation, the module automatically performs comprehensive status monitoring of connected external output lines, enabling real-time monitoring and detection of abnormal faults such as broken wires, open circuits, or short circuits in the control lines.

Applications

Petroleum refinery: deployed in emergency shutdown and interlock cabinets, directly driving high-pressure ESD solenoid valves with loop monitoring for reliable actuation in critical conditions

Long-distance pipeline station: installed in mainline block valve control panels, driving high-current solid-state outputs to operate heavy-duty solenoid actuators without intermediate relays

Fine chemical plant: integrated into reactor safety relief systems, using precise current sensing and leakage control to prevent hidden wiring faults from disabling shutdown functions
