Description
The C100/0200/STD universal process controller was launched in 1995. It enabled PID control of a single process variable and featured a 4 to 20 mA or relay control output and Alarm relay output as standard with the option to add further relay outputs and RS485 communications. It also featured a simple profile control program.
Applications
Spray painting plant: Precisely controls the temperature control process in curing ovens and drying rooms.
Electroplating plant: Monitors the temperature and time profiles of the bath heating system.
Aluminum processing plant: Manages the ramp-up and soaking times in aging furnaces.
Brick and tile plant: Used for pressure monitoring and exhaust fan regulation in tunnel kilns.
Boiler plant: Serves as a feedwater regulator or steam pressure controller for small industrial boilers.
Competitive Advantage
PID controller with 'one shot' auto-tune
Quick code, front face or PC configuration
Universal process input with transmitter power supply
Hoseproof front panel and full noise immunity
RS485/Modbus serial communications
FAQ
Q: What is the ABB C100/0200/STD?
A: It is a universal process controller.
Q: Do you have the C100/0200/STD in stock?
A: Yes, we currently have the C100/0200/STD in stock, ready for shipment, and we can support video inspection.
Q: What is the difference between the C100/0200/STD and 0100 models?
A: The 0200 model typically has additional alarm or auxiliary control outputs and supports more complex heating/cooling control logic.
Q: Can the C100/0200/STD store multiple process curves?
A: It supports simple Ramp/Soak functions, and the heating rate and hold time can be set.
Q: Can the rear panel wiring terminals of the C100/0200/STD be replaced if damaged?
A: This controller uses a pluggable terminal design. If only the terminals are damaged, they can be replaced individually. If the mainboard slot is burned out, the entire unit must be replaced.
