Description
The AO820 3BSE008546R1 Analog Output Module has 4 bipolar analog output channels. The choice of current or voltage output is configurable for each channel. There are separate sets of terminals for voltage and current outputs, and it is up to the user to wire outputs properly. The only differences between current or voltage channel configuration is in software settings.
To supervise the communication to the A/D-converters the output data is read back and verified. The opencircuit diagnostics are read continuously as well. The process voltage supervision input give channel error signals if the voltage disappears. The error signal can be read via the ModuleBus.

Applications
Aluminum plants/electrolytic aluminum plants: Utilizing their channel isolation characteristics to prevent grounding loop interference and ensure control accuracy in environments with strong interfering magnetic fields.
Power plants: Used to control the electro-hydraulic regulators of large steam turbines or the excitation systems of generators.
Glass processing plants: Controlling the power regulation of electric heating controllers in high-temperature furnace areas.
Chemical plants: Driving field actuators and regulating valves due to long wiring distances and large potential differences.
Mineral processing plants: Controlling frequency converters and feeding systems of mineral processing equipment in harsh electrical environments.

FAQ
Q: What is the AO820 3BSE008546R1?
A: It is a Analog Output Module.
Q: Can the AO820 3BSE008546R1 output 0–5 V?
A: Yes. The AO820 3BSE008546R1’s 0–10 V range can be configured via software, and the output upper limit can then be set to 50% in the logic, effectively providing a 0–5 V output.
Q: Does AO820 3BSE008546R1 support HART?
A: No. In the S800 system, only modules like AO845 or AO845A support HART communication; the AO820 does not.
Q: Why choose the AO820 3BSE008546R1 instead of the AO810?
A: The AO820 3BSE008546R1 should be selected when a voltage output (±10 V) is required or when severe ground loop interference exists in the field, situations where current output modules like the AO810 may not be suitable.
Q: How to Check Price and Availability for AO820 3BSE008546R1?
A: Please contact John Yang for sales at +86-18150117685 or request a quote.
