Description

The PROXPAC XL Proximity Transducer (330881-BR-04-034-06-02) is a compact, high-precision transducer designed for industrial automation and machinery condition monitoring. Featuring a 34 mm probe penetration with a 40 mm standoff adapter, this transducer is ideal for tight or recessed installations where accurate shaft vibration and displacement measurement is required. It integrates a 3300 XL Proximitor sensor without approvals, providing a self-contained sensing solution that eliminates the need for extension cables or separate Proximitor housings, streamlining field wiring directly to monitoring systems.

The housing is constructed from Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) reinforced with glass and conductive fibers, providing high mechanical strength, chemical resistance, and electrostatic dissipation. Rated IP66 and Type 4X, the PROXPAC XL transducer operates reliably in harsh industrial environments, including wet, dusty, and corrosive conditions.

Electrical specifications include supply sensitivity of < 2 mV per volt, output resistance of 50 Ω, and compatibility with 0.2–1.5 mm² (16–24 AWG) field wiring, ensuring precise and stable measurements. It supports a linear range of 2 mm (80 mils) with a recommended gap of 1.27 mm (50 mils), suitable for shafts ranging from 50.8 mm (2.0 in) minimum to 76.2 mm (3.0 in) recommended.
