Description
The 3300/50-02-01-00-00 Tachometer continuously measures shaft rotational speed from 1 to 99,999 rpm, rotor acceleration/deceleration from -9,999 to 9,999 rpm/min, and provides zero-speed output below 100 rpm. The 3300/50-02-01-00-00 Tachometer accepts two transducer inputs from Bently Nevada 3300, 7200, or 3000 series proximity probes, with internal voting logic to reduce false readings if one transducer fails. Nominal power consumption is 2.5 W, input impedance 10 kΩ, and buffered outputs per transducer are short-circuit protected with 100 Ω impedance. Voltage/current outputs (0–+12 Vdc, +4 to +20 mA) allow direct connection to automation and control systems. Signal conditioning accuracy is ±1 rpm for speed and ±20 rpm/min for rotor acceleration at +25°C. Operating range is 0°C to +65°C, storage -40°C to +85°C, and relative humidity up to 95%. The 3300/50-02-01-00-00 Tachometer features green LED OK indicators, red Alert LEDs for first-out conditions, and a Bypass LED, enabling precise automated monitoring and early detection of rotational speed deviations in industrial systems.
Applications
Monitor high-speed turbine shafts
The 3300/50-02-01-00-00 Tachometer measures shaft speed from 1 to 99,999 rpm, providing real-time voltage or current signals to automated control systems, enabling precise speed control for turbines and generators.
Track rotor acceleration for automated protection
Using ±20 rpm/min signal conditioning accuracy, the 3300/50-02-01-00-00 Tachometer detects rotor acceleration and deceleration, triggering automated alarms or safety interlocks in compressors, pumps, and high-speed rotating equipment.
Enable zero-speed detection and interlocks
The 3300/50-02-01-00-00 Tachometer provides zero-speed output below 100 rpm, activating automated start/stop sequences or safety interlocks in large industrial machinery.
Integrate dual-transducer inputs for automated voting
Accepting 2 transducer signals, the 3300/50-02-01-00-00 Tachometer uses internal voting logic to reduce false speed readings, enhancing reliability in automated monitoring systems.
