Description
The TM0180 and TM0105 series probes come in 0.5m and 1.0m cable lengths, as well as, special lengths of 5.0m and 9.0m with an integrated probe and extension cable design. The probe may be selected in English or metric units, as well as, reverse mounting options. Reverse mount probes are used with TM0393 probe housings for hazardous areas.
Applications
Power and Energy Plants: Used to monitor shaft vibration and axial displacement in steam turbines, gas turbines, and water turbines. It serves as the first line of defense against turbine scavenging and bearing damage.
Petroleum and Chemical Complexes: Monitors large centrifugal compressors, reciprocating pumps, and turbine drives. Its sealing design resists corrosion from lubricating oil, coolant, and various chemical media.
Metallurgical and Steel Plants: Used in heavy equipment such as blast furnace blowers and sintering fans, capturing real-time changes in shaft trajectory to ensure safe operation in extreme dust and vibration environments.
General Machinery Manufacturing: Used for condition monitoring of large industrial motors, gearboxes, and cooling tower fans, enabling predictive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime.
