T8431C Trusted TMR 24Vdc Analogue Input Module is a high-reliability industrial input solution designed for safety-critical automation and process control systems. It is engineered to provide stable, accurate, and fault-tolerant analogue signal acquisition from field devices in demanding industrial environments.

Installation

To install the Module:

1. Ensure that the field cable assembly is installed and correctly located.

2. If I/O Module keys are used, verify that all keys are installed in the correct positions and properly seated in their slots.

3. Release the ejector tabs on the Module using the release key. Ensure that the ejector tabs are fully open.

4. Holding the ejectors, carefully insert the Module into the intended slot.

5. Push the Module fully home by pressing on the top and bottom of the Module fascia.

6. Close the Module ejectors, ensuring that they click into their locked position.

FAQ

Q1: Can T8431C be used in a generic PLC rack?
A: No. It is dedicated to Trusted triple-redundant systems and must be installed in compatible chassis I/O slots.

Q2: Does T8431C support 4–20 mA inputs?
A: Yes. It supports 0–22 mA, fully covering 4–20 mA signals with ±1% accuracy.

Q3: Will a short circuit damage T8431C?
A: It has no internal fuses, so external micro-fuses are required to protect the 3.9 µA circuitry.
