Wiring and Installation
Internal Installation:
When the IOP and Power Adapter are in the same cabinet, use a 51304465-xxx cable (30–300 cm). The cable has two shielded twisted pairs, with shield grounding only at the Power Adapter side. Connections use compression terminals: 6-terminal at the Power Adapter and 4-terminal at the FTA.
External Installation:
When installed in separate cabinets, use a MU-KFTSxx cable (up to 50 m). Maximum external cable length is 300 m (1000 ft). MU-KLXxxx cabinet cable uses four wires with braided shield, grounded at both the Power Adapter and FTA ends.
