Description
The 330880-16-15-020-01-02 PROXPAC XL Proximity Transducer is a fully integrated, self-contained proximity sensing system optimized for industrial automation and machinery monitoring. This assembly combines a 3300 XL 8 mm probe with a built-in Proximitor sensor, eliminating the need for extension cables or separate Proximitor housings. It provides linear measurement over a 2 mm (80 mils) range with a recommended gap of 1.27 mm (50 mils), making it ideal for precise monitoring of rotor displacement, shaft vibration, and machinery alignment. The transducer accommodates shafts from 50.8 mm to 76.2 mm (2–3 inches) and supports standard 3/4-14 NPT mounting with a standoff adapter of 38 mm (1.5 in) and probe penetration of 50.8 mm (2 in). Its PPS housing, reinforced with glass and conductive fibers, ensures high durability, superior electrostatic discharge protection, and IP66 environmental sealing verified by BASEEFA. The assembly operates reliably across a wide temperature range from –52°C to +100°C (–62°F to +212°F) and supports simplified field wiring with direct connection to monitoring systems, ensuring rapid installation and maintenance efficiency in critical industrial environments.
