Description

IS420ESWAH3A is an IONet Ethernet Switch developed by GE and is part of the General Electric Speedtronic Mark Vle gas turbine control systems. It uses Achilles-certified controllers and current Fieldbus technology to meet NERC version 5 Protection Reliability Standards for Critical Infrastructure. The component has eight ports with 10/100BASE-TX capability. It's one of numerous Ethernet switch models available for use with the Mark Vle system. It features a conformal coating and is suitable for usage in hazardous environments. The machine can function in temperatures ranging from -40 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit.

Flow Control

Flow control between switches is supported by the switch. It receives and honors pause packets using IEEE defined pause packets. The switch only sends pause packets if port requires flow control.

Link presence, activity and duplex, and port speed LEDs have two colors that indicate their status

Full Duplex activity is indicated by a green flash.

Yellow flashes for activity at Half Duplex

LEDTWO

Green indicates a link and 100 Mb.

Yellow indicates a link and 10 Mb.

No link= no led lit
