Description
IC220STR003 VersaPoint motor starter modules enable the user to easily connect directly to three phase motors. The starter control (ON/OFF) and diagnostics is via the VersaPoint bus and no additional I/O modules required. The motor starter modules reduce wiring and installation.

Functionality
1 Integrated Forward/Reverse Logic: After the electronic module is inserted into the IC220STR003, the motor phase sequence can be controlled via a single bus signal. This eliminates the need for complex contactor electrical interlocking wiring in traditional systems.
2 Interference Immunity and Grounding: Compared to ordinary bases, the STR003 features enhanced FE (functional ground) connection. Since significant electromagnetic interference is generated during motor switching, the shielded grounding capability provided by the STR003 effectively protects the PLC communication bus.
3 Space Constraints: Two contactors, electrical interlocking, and overload protection are integrated within a DIN rail space less than 30mm wide.
