Description
DS200CTBAG1ADD is a C-Core Analog Termination Module manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark V LM Series used in Aeroderivative Control Systems. The Termination Module (CTBA) terminal board is located in the core. The CTBA terminal board lands the 4-20 mA output signals, the 4-20 mA input signals, and the shaft voltage and shaft current signals. The IONET connection to the STCA board and the COREBUS connection to the QTBA board on the core are also located on the CTBA board. The 24 V DC power for diagnostics comes from the TCPD board in the core. A bypass relay that allows the COREBUS to continue to communicate if power is lost to the CTBA terminal board is located on the CTBA terminal board.
Applications
Power industry: Power generation, transmission, and distribution systems.
Petrochemical industry: Petroleum refining and chemical production processes.
Iron and steel metallurgy industry: Production processes such as blast furnaces, converters, and steel rolling.
Water treatment industry: Equipment such as water pumps, valves, and instruments.
Product Series
The DS200CTBAG1ADD belongs to the MARK V series, which also includes the following models:
DS200CTBAG1ADF: Analog Input Terminal Board

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What is a DS200CTBAG1ADD C-Core Analog Termination Module?
A: A C-Core Analog Termination Module is an interface device used to connect analog field signals (such as 4–20 mA or 0–10 V) to control system I/O modules. It ensures proper termination, signal conditioning, and isolation for reliable data acquisition.
Q: What types of analog signals are supported by the DS200CTBAG1ADD?
A: The module typically supports industrial standard analog signals such as 4–20 mA current loops, 0–10 V voltage levels, and sometimes ±10 V differential inputs. These signals are commonly used for sensor outputs and actuator control in DCS and PLC-based systems.
Q: What is the difference between a DS200CTBAG1ADD Analog Termination Module and an I/O module?
A: An Analog Termination Module is a passive device used for connecting and organizing analog signal wiring, while an I/O module is an active component that converts these analog signals to a digital format for processing by a controller.
