Functional Description
5466-258 is a Discrete I/O Module developed by Woodward. The modules are inserted into card guides in the control's chassis and connected to the motherboard. Two screws, one at the top and one at the bottom of the front panel, hold the modules in place. There are also two handles at the top and bottom of the module that when toggled (pushed outward), move the modules out just far enough for the boards to disengage the motherboard connectors.

Installation
Connect the input module to the network and 24 Vdc power, then mount it on a DIN rail. Inputs may use internal +24 V or an external 24 V supply.
Set node address using rotary switches. Faulty nodes can be replaced online without breaking the network cable.
To replace a node, remove terminal blocks and module from the DIN rail, set the new node address to match, then reinstall and reconnect terminals.
Finally, reset the node via the application program to restore communication and clear the no-message fault.
