Description
The 3500/94M 184826-01 Main Module integrates a VGA touch-screen display with its I/O card to show complete 3500 Machinery Protection System data, including system events, alarms, and module/channel values. Supporting up to 8 m (25 ft) cable distance, the 3500/94M 184826-01 allows local configuration of nine custom screens and API-670 rack views. Power consumption is 4.6 W max, operating temperature -30°C to +65°C, and humidity up to 95% non-condensing. The module provides OK and TX/RX LEDs, RS232 touch controller interface, and a VGA port for analog RGB signals. With the optional Display Router Box, 3500/94M 184826-01 supports viewing four racks and displaying alarm status per rack. Rack installation requires one full-height front slot for the monitor module and one rear slot for the I/O module, with ATEX approval and EMC/electrical safety certifications.
Applications
Oil & Gas: Used on offshore platforms and in refineries to monitor critical centrifugal/reciprocating compressor units, gas turbines, and high-pressure water injection pumps.
184826-01 supports extending data to a touchscreen outside the explosion-proof enclosure, allowing field operators to quickly switch between viewing vibration curves for different units.
Power Generation: Used in thermal or nuclear power plants to monitor the axial displacement, radial vibration, and eccentricity of main turbine generator units.
Supports an "event list" display, assisting engineers in identifying the initial alarm point within seconds when a unit trips.
Petrochemicals: Used to monitor agitators, extruders, and refrigeration units in large reactors, ensuring the proper functioning of process safety interlocks.
