Description

The 330902-00-10-10-01-00 3300 NSv Proximity Probe is a precision eddy-current transducer designed for high-performance vibration and position measurement in compact and constrained industrial machinery environments. Specifically engineered for centrifugal air compressors, refrigeration compressors, and process gas compressors, the 3300 NSv provides reliable radial and axial monitoring even in tight installation spaces where standard 3300 XL 5 and 8 mm probes cannot fit. With a linear range of 1.5 mm (60 mils), recommended gap of 1.0 mm, output resistance of 50 Ω, and supply sensitivity below 2 mV per input volt, the probe delivers accurate non-contacting measurements under extreme operating conditions from −52°C to +177°C. Its AISI 304 stainless steel case and PPS probe tip provide chemical and thermal resistance suitable for aggressive process environments. Mechanically compatible with previous 3300 RAM systems, the 3300 NSv probe supports upgrades without requiring new cabling, while patented TipLoc and CableLoc technologies provide robust probe-cable bonding with 220 N pull strength. Optional connector protectors prevent ingress of liquids, ensuring stable electrical performance in harsh automation systems. This probe is ideal for fluid-film bearing machinery, small shaft diameters (<51 mm), and axial position monitoring of flat targets smaller than 15 mm, making it a key component in predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and machine protection systems.
