Description
The 330180-51-00 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor supports a 5.0-meter system length and DIN mount, accepting one 3300-series 5 mm or 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe and Extension Cable. Operating at -17.5 Vdc to -26 Vdc, the 330180-51-00 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor uses A308 aluminum housing and provides 50 Ω output resistance with less than 2 mV change per volt input. It operates from -52°C to +100°C and stores safely up to +105°C. The sensor delivers frequency response from 0 to 10 kHz over up to 305 meters of field wiring and can detect flat targets as small as 15.2 mm diameter. Output voltage ranges from 0.0247 to 0.0348 Mil pp/Gauss depending on probe gap. Designed for industrial automation, the 330180-51-00 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor enables precise vibration and position measurement on fluid-film bearing machines and supports Keyphasor reference and speed monitoring. Its SpringLoc terminals allow fast, tool-free wiring, and the sensor’s RFI/EMI immunity allows installation in fiberglass housings without shielded conduits, ensuring robust operation in industrial environments.
Applications
Measure Shaft Vibration on Fluid-Film Bearings
The 330180-51-00 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor detects shaft vibration using 3300 XL 8 mm probes with frequency response up to 10 kHz and outputs from 0.0247 to 0.0348 Mil pp/Gauss, supporting precise monitoring of pumps, turbines, and compressors.
Track Shaft Position and Motion
With a 5.0-meter system length and DIN mount, the 330180-51-00 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor measures static and dynamic shaft displacement, providing Keyphasor reference signals for automation speed and timing control.
Install in Compact DIN-Rail Systems
The 330180-51-00 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor is housed in A308 aluminum with a DIN mount footprint, allowing easy integration into high-density control panels without additional isolator plates.
Monitor Equipment Across Wide Temperatures
Rated from -52°C to +100°C operating and -52°C to +105°C storage, the 330180-51-00 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor works in extreme industrial environments.
