The 330101-00-33-05-02-00 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe is a high-performance eddy current transducer specifically designed for industrial automation and machinery monitoring. This probe delivers a voltage output directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the conductive target, enabling precise measurement of both static shaft positions and dynamic vibrations. Its compact 0.5 meter (1.6 feet) total length, combined with a 3/8-24 UNF stainless steel threaded case and a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector, makes it ideal for installations in confined or space-restricted environments. The probe operates reliably over a wide temperature range of -52°C to +177°C (-62°F to +350°F), with supply sensitivity under 2 mV per volt change, ensuring highly stable and accurate readings in harsh industrial conditions. With a linear range of 2 mm (80 mils) and extension cable capacitance of 69.9 pF/m (21.3 pF/ft), the probe integrates seamlessly into 3300 XL 8 mm transducer systems. Patented TipLoc and CableLoc designs reinforce the bond between probe tip and cable, providing 330 N (75 lbf) pull strength. Optional FluidLoc cables prevent oil or fluid leakage, maintaining operational integrity. Backward compatibility with non-XL 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm probes allows flexible upgrades and complete interchangeability without bench calibration, optimizing system deployment across various automation platforms.
