Description

The FC-SDO-0824 SDO-0824 V1.3 is a safe digital output module used in control systems. This module sends control signals to field devices such as indicator lights, alarm lights, and solenoid valves. It primarily responds to commands from the main system processing unit to open or close these field devices, thereby controlling valve opening/closing or light illumination.

Test

The outputs are tested during configured diagnostic test intervals:

- Power-down group capability (by auxiliary means)

- Crosstalk between outputs

- Suppressor diode capability

The outputs are divided into two groups of four outputs each. Each group has its own auxiliary power-down method. The auxiliary power-down method (SMOD) enables the watchdog and processor topower-down the outputs regardless of the outcome of the application function.
