Description
DS215UCIAG1AZZ05A is a UC2000 Core Motherboard manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark V Series used in GE Speedtronic Gas Turbine Control Systems. It features one microprocessor and several PROM modules. It also has one jumper and one connector for attaching other boards. A modular-type connector allows for the connection of a daughter card to the board. The daughter card is physically attached to the board via standoffs on the board, and the modular connector offers power and signal connections. Because the use of a daughter card requires more space in the board cabinet, it is standard practice to replace it in the same location when replacing it. The board's 10 LEDs provide a health status and signal if an error occurs.
When the drive is operational, the LEDs are visible, making it easy for the operator to locate the board and determine the state of the board by determining the pattern of the flashing LEDs;
When normal processing is taking place, the LEDs flash off and on in a clockwise direction from left to right;
When an error code is generated, the LEDs flash in a specific sequence to display the error code.
Applications
Power Generation:
Gas Turbine Control: Used for managing the start-up, acceleration, speed control, and temperature monitoring of large gas turbines (such as the GE Frame 7 or Frame 9 series).
Steam Turbine Control: Used in steam turbine speed regulation and protection systems in thermal power plants or combined heat and power plants.
Industrial Factories:
Power Drive Applications: Used in large manufacturing plants or chemical plants to control industrial turbines that drive compressors, pump sets, or large generators.
Oil and Gas Sector: Used in power systems for remote pipeline pumping stations, offshore drilling platforms, and liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing plants.
Automation Equipment: As a PLC-level processor, it integrates I/O signals, control algorithms, and protection sequences to ensure the stable operation of power sources in industrial production lines.
Hardware Tips
As with any Mark V Series product available to our new and reconditioned inventory here, this DS215UCIAG1AZZ05A PCB's functionality is introduced alongside a specific series of function-inducing hardware components and component specifications. The GE UC2000 Motherboard DS215UCIAG1AZZ05A features one microprocessor and multiple PROM modules. It also contains 1 block of 10 LEDs and 2 50-pin connectors. The GE UC2000 Motherboard DS215UCIAG1AZZ05A also is populated with 1 jumper and 1 connector to support the attachment of other boards. The GE UC2000 Motherboard DS215UCIAG1AZZ05A is populated with a modular type connector that enables a daughter card to be connected to the board. Standoffs are located on the board that enables the daughter card to be physically attached to the board while the modular connector provides power and signal connections. Two daughter cards are compatible with the board and the choice of which to use depends on the requirements of the site. The use of a daughter card means that the board requires more space in the board cabinet and if you replace the board, best practice is to install the replacement in the same location.
The DS215UCIAG1AZZ05A functional product number itself can be considered a primary source of hardware information; coding for specific details in a series of functional naming chunks. For example, the DS215UCIAG1AZZ05A functional product number begins with the dual-functional DS215 series tag delegating this DS215UCIAG1AZZ05A PCB's special Mark V Series assembly as well as its domestic original manufacture location. Some of the other details revealed through part number include this DS215UCIAG1AZZ05A PCB's:
