Description

The DO801 3BSE020510R1 is a 16 channel 24 V digital output module for the S800 I/O. The output voltage range is 10 to 30 volt and the maximum continuous output current is 0.5 A. The outputs are protected against short circuits, over voltage and over temperature. The outputs are in one isolated group. Each output channel consists of a short circuit and over temperature protected high side driver, EMC protection components, inductive load suppression, output state indication LED and optical isolation barrier.

FAQ

Q1: Can the DO801 3BSE020510R1 be connected to an AC 220V load?
A: Absolutely not. Connecting to AC power will instantly burn out the internal power transistors. An intermediate relay must be used for conversion.

Q2: What is the difference between it and the DO801 3BSE020510R1?
A: Both are very similar in function, both providing 16 channels of 24V DC output. The DO801 is a later optimized version with better heat dissipation and overload protection mechanisms.

Q3: Does DO801 3BSE020510R1 support "Fail-safe" settings?
A: Yes. In the event of a communication interruption, its output can be set to "Hold Last State" or "Force Zero (Safe Reset)" via the 800xA system.

Q4: Why is the LED on my DO801 3BSE020510R1 panel lit, but there is no external voltage?
A: The lit LED only indicates that a logic layer instruction has been issued. Please measure the L+ power supply on the terminal block. If L+ is not connected, there will be no voltage at the output.

Q5: What is its maximum total load current of DO801 3BSE020510R1?
A: Although a single channel supports 0.5A, due to module heat dissipation limitations, when all 16 channels are turned on at the same time, the total current is generally recommended not to exceed 5A-8A (see technical manual for details).
