Description

The AS3100S2-Z0 Side Exit Sensor is an advanced IEPE (Integrated Electronics Piezo-Electric) accelerometer designed for high-precision vibration monitoring in harsh industrial environments. With a sensitivity of 100 mV/g and an acceleration range up to 80 g peak, this sensor captures high-fidelity dynamic signals across a broad frequency range of 0.7–10,000 Hz, ensuring accurate monitoring of critical machinery. Its side-exit cable configuration allows installation in compact or constrained spaces while maintaining hermetic sealing, stainless steel construction, and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for aggressive environments, including hazardous areas rated Zone 0.

The AS3100S2-Z0 incorporates an integrated amplifier for strong signal output, minimizing electrical noise (700 μg broadband, spectral noise 10 μg/√Hz @10 Hz, 5 μg/√Hz @100–1000 Hz), and operates reliably over a temperature range of -50°C to 120°C. The sensor is case isolated, EMI/RFI shielded, and offers reverse wiring and ESD protection, ensuring long-term durability in industrial automation and condition monitoring systems.
