Description
The 990-08-XX-01-00 Vibration Transmitter delivers a 4–20 mA proportional vibration signal for centrifugal air compressors, small pumps, motors, and fans. Designed for automation, it accepts a single 3300 NSv Proximity Probe with extension cables up to 7 meters. Operating from +12 to +35 Vdc, the two-wire loop-powered 990-08-XX-01-00 provides a linear Prox Out range of 0.25–1.65 mm (10–65 mils) with 10 kΩ output impedance. Its full-scale option spans 0–8 mils pp (0–200 μm pp). The transmitter features integrated Proximitor Sensor, non-interacting zero and span potentiometers, and a Test Input pin for quick loop signal verification. The Not OK/Signal Defeat circuit avoids false alarms from probe faults. Mounting is simplified with 35 mm DIN rail clips or bulkhead screws. Potted construction allows operation in -35°C to +85°C environments and storage from -52°C to +100°C. Leadwire supports up to 3 meters (10 feet) to the BNC connector for diagnostics. The 990-08-XX-01-00 enables precise vibration monitoring and direct control system input, ideal for automation in confined machinery spaces.
