Description
The 990-05-XX-01-CN Vibration Transmitter delivers precise 4–20 mA vibration signals for centrifugal air compressors, small pumps, motors, and fans. Accepting one 3300 NSv Proximity Probe with a system length of 7 meters, the 990-05-XX-01-CN converts peak-to-peak vibration (0–5 mils / 0–125 μm) into a proportional signal for automation control systems. Operating from +12 to +35 Vdc, it supports loop-powered two-wire connections with up to 1,000 Ω resistance. The transmitter includes DIN-rail mounting, potted construction for high-humidity environments, and a test input pin for quick loop verification. Non-isolated PROX OUT and COM terminals provide diagnostic outputs, while Not OK/Signal Defeat circuitry prevents false alarms. Designed for automated machinery protection, the 990-05-XX-01-CN Vibration Transmitter integrates easily with proximity probes and control systems.
Applications
Domestic petrochemical and refinery plants: Monitoring radial vibration of centrifuges, compressors, and pump sets in flammable and explosive areas. Due to its CN certification, it can directly pass domestic fire safety and security assessments.
Large thermal power plants: Monitoring rotating machinery such as fans and feedwater pumps to prevent unplanned shutdowns due to excessive vibration, and integrating with the plant's DCS system for real-time monitoring.
Heavy machinery manufacturing (OEM): Domestic compressor or motor manufacturers often provide it as a component, integrated into control cabinets for end users.
Natural gas pipeline pressurization stations: Used for remote status monitoring of drive units on long-distance gas pipelines.

Competitive Advantage
High Accuracy Measurement
Full-scale range 0–125 μm pp with 10 kΩ Prox Out calibrated for 10 MΩ load ensures precise vibration readings for machinery condition evaluation.
Harsh Environment Operation
Operating temperature –35 °C to +85 °C and storage up to –52 °C to +100 °C, with CSA, ATEX Zone 0/2, and ABS approvals, allows deployment in extreme and regulated industrial environments.
Integrated Sensor Design
Built-in Proximitor Sensor eliminates the need for external units, reducing installation complexity and potential signal errors.
Protection Against False Signals
The Not OK/Signal Defeat circuit prevents false alarms from loose or faulty probes, maintaining accurate system monitoring.
Flexible Installation
Supports DIN-rail clips or bulkhead mounting and maximum 7 m system length, allowing placement in tight spaces and simplifying upgrades.
