Description

The 990-04-50-03-00 Vibration Transmitter is a high-precision, loop-powered device designed for industrial automation and machinery condition monitoring. It accepts input from a 3300 NSv Proximity Probe and its extension cable, converting vibration measurements into a standard 4–20 mA signal for integration with machinery control systems. Capable of measuring vibration amplitudes from 0.25 to 1.65 mm (10 to 65 mils) linearly, the transmitter ensures accurate peak-to-peak vibration feedback in centrifugal compressors, small pumps, motors, and fans. Operating reliably across a temperature range of -35°C to +85°C (-31°F to +185°F), and with maximum loop resistance of 1,000 Ω, it delivers stable, real-time data to support automation, machinery protection, and predictive maintenance. The device features integrated Proximitor Sensor electronics, non-interacting zero and span adjustments, and diagnostic outputs via coaxial or PROX OUT terminals.
