The 330903-00-12-05-02-05 3300 NSv Proximity Probe is a high-precision transducer system engineered for centrifugal air compressors, refrigeration compressors, process gas compressors, and other industrial machines with limited installation space. Designed specifically for automation applications where side-view, rear-view, or counter-bore restrictions exist, the 3300 NSv Proximity Probe excels in measuring radial vibration on shafts smaller than 51 mm (2 in) and axial positions on compact targets under 15 mm (0.6 in). This Bently Nevada NSv system supports critical measurements on fluid-filmed bearing machinery, including radial vibration, radial position, axial thrust position, tachometer readings, zero speed detection, and Keyphasor phase reference signals.
The 3300 NSv Transducer System is fully compatible with previous 3300 RAM proximity probes and extension cables, allowing straightforward upgrades while leveraging existing automation infrastructure. In applications requiring a full system replacement from older 3000-series or 7000-series transducers, the NSv probe, extension cable, and Proximitor Sensor ensure seamless integration. With an average scale factor of 7.87 V/mm (200 mV/mil), the 3300 NSv provides reliable eddy current output, optimized for small target and side-view limitations, while maintaining a linear range of 1.5 mm (60 mils), surpassing the 3000-series 190 Transducer System.
The 3300 NSv probe offers enhanced chemical resistance for demanding process environments, and its side-view design delivers superior gap performance compared to older 190-series probes. Multiple probe case configurations are available, including armored and unarmored threads in 1/4-28, 3/8-24, M8X1, and M10X1, with reverse-mount versions provided in 3/8-24 or M10X1. All system components feature gold-plated ClickLoc connectors that lock securely, preventing electrical loosening, while the patented TipLoc molding ensures robust bonding between probe tip and body.
