Description
The 330901-00-09-05-02-00 3300 NSv 1.5 mm Proximity Probe is an advanced eddy current transducer designed for tight-space industrial automation applications, including centrifugal air compressors, refrigeration compressors, and process gas machinery. Engineered for areas with counter bore, side-view, or rear-view limitations, the 3300 NSv provides precise measurement of radial vibration, axial position, and shaft movement where standard 3300 XL probes cannot fit. With a 0.9-inch case length, 0.5-meter ClickLoc coaxial cable, and a robust AISI 304 stainless steel case, it ensures reliability in high-temperature environments from -52°C to +177°C (-62°F to +351°F).
The probe offers a 1.5 mm (60 mils) linear range, 50 Ω output resistance, and less than 2 mV/V supply sensitivity, delivering highly accurate, repeatable outputs with an average scale factor of 7.87 V/mm (200 mV/mil). The polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) tip and enhanced side-view design make it ideal for small targets, including shafts smaller than 51 mm (2 in) and axial targets under 15 mm (0.6 in). Optional reverse-mount configurations and multiple thread options (1/4-28 UNF, 3/8-24, M8X1, M10X1) increase flexibility. Patented TipLoc molding and CableLoc design ensure a durable bond and 220 N (50 lb) pull strength, while ClickLoc connectors prevent loosening, providing robust signal integrity even in harsh industrial environments.
Mechanically and electrically compatible with previous 3300 RAM and 3000-series 190 probes, the 3300 NSv allows seamless upgrades and component interchangeability while offering superior chemical resistance, making it well-suited for demanding process compressor applications.
