Description
The PROXPAC XL Proximity Transducer (330881-BR-07-155-06-02) is a high-precision industrial transducer engineered for automated condition monitoring and machinery protection. This model features a 155 mm probe penetration with a 70 mm standoff adapter, making it suitable for deep or recessed shaft installations where reliable vibration and displacement measurement is critical. It includes a 3300 XL Proximitor sensor without approvals, forming a self-contained sensing assembly that eliminates the need for extension cables or separate Proximitor housings. Field wiring connects directly to monitoring systems, simplifying installation and reducing potential failure points.
The transducer housing is crafted from Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) reinforced with glass and conductive fibers, delivering mechanical robustness, chemical resistance, and electrostatic dissipation. With IP66 and Type 4X ratings, it performs reliably in extreme industrial environments, including wet, dusty, or corrosive locations. Electrical specifications include <2 mV supply sensitivity per volt, 50 Ω output resistance, and compatibility with 0.2–1.5 mm² (16–24 AWG) field wiring.
