Description

The PROXPAC XL Proximity Transducer (330881-BR-04-145-06-02) is a high-performance industrial automation sensor designed for precision monitoring of rotating machinery. Featuring a 145 mm probe penetration with a 40 mm standoff adapter, this transducer accurately measures shaft displacement and vibration, providing real-time data critical for predictive maintenance and machine health analysis. Integrated with a 3300 XL Proximitor sensor without approvals, the assembly forms a fully self-contained proximity monitoring system, eliminating the need for extension cables or separate Proximitor housings and allowing direct field wiring to monitoring systems.

Constructed from Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) reinforced with glass and conductive fibers, the PROXPAC XL housing delivers high mechanical strength, electrostatic dissipation, and corrosion resistance. Rated IP66 and Type 4X, it withstands harsh industrial environments including dust, moisture, and chemical exposure. Electrical characteristics include <2 mV change in output per volt variation in supply, 50 Ω output resistance, and compatibility with 0.2–1.5 mm² (16–24 AWG) field wiring. With a 2 mm linear range, recommended gap of 1.27 mm, and shaft compatibility from 50.8 mm minimum to 76.2 mm recommended, this transducer is ideal for applications in turbines, compressors, pumps, motors, and automated industrial systems, operating reliably between -52°C to +100°C, with storage up to +105°C.
