The 330881-28-09-080-03-02 PROXPAC XL Proximity Transducer is a fully integrated, high-performance transducer system designed for industrial automation and advanced condition monitoring applications. This assembly combines a 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probe with an onboard Proximitor sensor, eliminating the need for separate extension cables or external Proximitor housings. With a 90 mm standoff adapter and 80 mm probe penetration, the PROXPAC XL transducer provides precise radial vibration and axial position measurements on fluid-film bearing machinery. The robust PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide) thermoplastic housing reinforced with glass and conductive fibers offers exceptional chemical and mechanical resistance while dissipating electrostatic charges. Rated to IP66 and Type 4X standards, it ensures protection against dust, moisture, and harsh environmental conditions. Operating reliably between -52°C and +100°C (-62°F to +212°F), the system accommodates shafts with a minimum diameter of 50.8 mm (2 in) and recommended diameter of 76.2 mm (3 in). Its linear range of 2 mm (80 mils), recommended gap of 1.27 mm (50 mils), output resistance of 50 Ω, and supply sensitivity below 2 mV per volt ensure accurate, stable signals for industrial monitoring and automation systems.
