Description

The 330881-28-00-100-06-02 PROXPAC XL Proximity Transducer is an advanced, self-contained proximity monitoring system designed for industrial automation and rotating machinery applications. This assembly integrates a 3300 XL 8 mm Proximitor sensor directly into the housing, eliminating the need for separate Proximitor sensors or extension cables. With a probe penetration of 100 mm, linear range of 2 mm, and recommended gap setting of 1.27 mm, the PROXPAC XL provides precise, reliable shaft displacement measurements. The assembly supports supply sensitivity of <2 mV per volt change, output resistance of 50 Ω, and field wiring from 0.2 to 1.5 mm² (16–24 AWG), ensuring robust signal integrity in complex automation systems. The housing, constructed from Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) with glass and conductive fibers, offers superior strength, electrostatic dissipation, and is rated IP66 / Type 4X, capable of operating in extreme temperatures from -52°C to +100°C. The 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread, included fittings, and compatibility with multiple approvals make it highly versatile for industrial installations.
