Description
The 330880-16-00-060-03-02 PROXPAC XL Proximity Transducer is a fully integrated automation sensor designed for high-precision monitoring of rotating machinery, including turbines, compressors, and pumps. This self-contained 3300 XL assembly combines the proximity probe and Proximitor sensor within a Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) housing, eliminating the need for an extension cable or separate Proximitor enclosure. It provides a linear range of 2 mm (80 mils), recommended 1.27 mm (50 mils) gap, and 50 Ω output resistance for precise vibration and shaft position measurements. The probe supports shaft diameters from 50.8 mm to 76.2 mm, operates in extreme temperatures from -52°C to +100°C, and meets IP66 and Type 4X housing ratings for protection against dust, water, and corrosive environments. The PPS housing, reinforced with glass and conductive fibers, dissipates electrostatic charges and improves durability. Field wiring accommodates 0.2–1.5 mm² (16–24 AWG), and supply sensitivity is less than 2 mV/V. This fully integrated design simplifies installation, reduces maintenance, and ensures consistent, reliable performance for automation, machinery protection, and predictive maintenance systems.
