Description
The 330130-045-13-00 3300 XL Standard Extension Cable is a high-reliability connection solution designed for 3300 XL 8 mm and 5 mm Proximity Transducer Systems. This 4.5-meter (14.8 ft) armored FluidLoc cable with connector protector ensures secure and contamination-resistant signal transmission from the probe to the monitoring system. The cable is constructed with 75 Q triaxial fluoroethylene propylene (FEP) insulation and 99.9% braided copper shielding, providing excellent electrical performance and resistance to chemical exposure. It supports linear range measurements up to 2 mm (80 mils) and offers a frequency response of 0–10 kHz, maintaining signal integrity over distances up to 305 meters (1000 feet) of field wiring. With a maximum output resistance of 50 Ω, less than 2 mV per volt supply sensitivity, and optional FluidLoc sealing, this extension cable delivers high-performance vibration and displacement monitoring in harsh industrial environments. It is fully compatible with 3300 XL probe systems, facilitating API 670-compliant installations, and supports interchangeability of probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors for simplified system integration and maintenance.
Applications
1. Long-Distance Probe Integration
Supports up to 305 meters of field wiring while maintaining precise vibration and position measurement, ideal for large industrial plants with widely spaced equipment.
2. Harsh Environment Protection
Armored FEP construction with connector protectors prevents oil, water, and chemical ingress, ensuring stable operation in lubrication-heavy or corrosive environments.
3. High-Frequency Vibration Monitoring
With a 0–10 kHz frequency response, this cable accurately transmits high-speed signals from rotating machinery such as turbines, compressors, and pumps.
4. System Upgrades and Retrofits
Fully compatible with 3300 XL 8 mm and 5 mm probes, allowing seamless upgrades without reconfiguring the monitoring system.
5. Critical Machinery Safety Compliance
Supports API 670 standard installations, enabling reliable, continuous monitoring of critical equipment for predictive maintenance and failure prevention.

Competitive Advantage
1. Robust Electrical Performance
Low capacitance (69.9 pF/m) and high-quality shielding ensure minimal signal distortion, providing precise and reliable measurements.
2. Extreme Environmental Resistance
FEP insulation, armored construction, and optional FluidLoc sealing allow operation in temperatures from -52°C to +177°C (-62°F to +350°F) with full protection from moisture and contaminants.
3. High Mechanical Strength
Cable is designed to withstand 330 N (75 lbf) pull force, maintaining secure probe connections in high-vibration and high-tension applications.
4. Easy System Integration
Fully backward compatible with all 3300 XL probes and Proximitor sensors, reducing installation time and simplifying maintenance.
5. Extended Application Range
Supports long linear distances and high-frequency signal transmission, enabling use across large facilities, complex machinery layouts, and critical process monitoring.
