Description

The 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe (330101-00-72-20-02-05) is a high-precision eddy current transducer engineered for industrial automation, rotating machinery monitoring, and predictive maintenance. It delivers an output voltage proportional to the distance between the probe tip and a conductive surface, enabling both static position and dynamic vibration measurements. Designed with an overall case length of 7.2 inches and a total cable length of 2.0 meters (6.6 feet), the 3300 XL 8 mm probe fits space-constrained installations including side-view and reverse mount configurations. The 3/8-24 UNF threaded case ensures secure and repeatable mounting. It operates reliably over a temperature range of -52°C to +177°C (-62°F to +350°F) and holds CSA, ATEX, and IECEx certifications, making it suitable for hazardous and high-demand industrial environments.

The probe features a 2 mm (80 mils) linear range, 50 Ω output resistance, minimal supply sensitivity (<2 mV per volt), and 69.9 pF/m extension cable capacitance, ensuring stable and accurate signal transmission.
