Description

The 330101-00-17-20-12-05 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe is a high-precision eddy current transducer engineered for industrial automation, predictive maintenance, and real-time machinery condition monitoring. Featuring a linear range of 2 mm (80 mils), it produces an output voltage directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the conductive surface, enabling accurate measurement of both static shaft positions and dynamic vibrations. The probe incorporates an overall case length of 1.7 inches and a 2.0-meter FluidLoc extension cable with a Miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector, ensuring robust signal integrity in high-vibration and harsh industrial environments.

Designed to operate under extreme conditions, it supports temperatures from -52°C to +177°C (-62°F to +350°F), has a supply sensitivity of less than 2 mV per volt, an output resistance of 50 Ω, and an extension cable capacitance of 69.9 pF/m (21.3 pF/ft). Its 3/8-24 UNF threaded probe case allows secure mounting with a maximum engagement of 0.563 inches. Patented TipLoc and CableLoc designs enhance mechanical durability, providing 330 N (75 lbf) pull strength, while the optional FluidLoc cable prevents oil and other fluids from compromising signal accuracy. Fully CSA, ATEX, and IECEx certified, the probe is API 670 compliant and fully backward-compatible with other 3300 series probes and Proximitor sensors, supporting modular automation and reliable interchangeability.
