Description
The 3300/35 Six-Channel Temperature RTD Input Monitor provides six independent channels for on-line temperature monitoring in automated industrial systems. The 3300/35 Six-Channel Temperature RTD Input Monitor accepts up to six RTD signals, including 3-wire and 4-wire 100 Ω platinum (α = 0.00385 or 0.00392) up to 500°C/1000°F, 120 Ω nickel up to 150°C/300°F, and 10 Ω copper up to 100°C/200°F, with field recalibration via plug-in jumpers when changing RTD types.
The 3300/35 Six-Channel Temperature RTD Input Monitor features digitally adjustable Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 per channel from 0–500°C (0–1000°F) with ±1°C repeatability, a 7-segment 4-digit LCD displaying channel readings, alarm status, and error codes, and LED indicators for OK, Alarm, and Bypass. Voltage outputs are 0–+12 Vdc, and current outputs +4 to +20 mA across 0–600 Ω, with 100 Ω output impedance. Full-scale ranges are user-selected and factory-calibrated, with field reprogramming for recorder or computer interface. Operating temperature is 0°C to +65°C, storage -40°C to +85°C, and nominal power consumption is 4 W. The 3300/35 Six-Channel Temperature RTD Input Monitor supports automated temperature monitoring in turbines, compressors, and industrial machinery control systems.
Applications
Monitor turbine and compressor temperatures
The 3300/35 Six-Channel Temperature RTD Input Monitor measures six independent RTD channels, providing accurate readings up to 500°C (1000°F) with ±1°C repeatability, enabling automated detection of overheating points.
Trigger automated high/low temperature alarms
Using digitally adjustable Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 per channel, the 3300/35 Six-Channel Temperature RTD Input Monitor sends real-time alarm outputs to PLCs or DCS systems, supporting automated shutdown or protective actions.
Transmit temperature data to control and logging systems
The 3300/35 Six-Channel Temperature RTD Input Monitor provides voltage outputs (0–+12 Vdc) and current outputs (+4 to +20 mA) with 100 Ω impedance, integrating RTD measurements directly into automated monitoring systems.
Isolate channels for maintenance without disrupting others
LED indicators for OK, Alarm, and Bypass on the 3300/35 Six-Channel Temperature RTD Input Monitor allow operators to bypass individual channels or view error codes while maintaining continuous monitoring on other channels.
