Description
The 26363-30 Proximity Probe is a non-contact gap-to-voltage sensor designed for automated machinery monitoring. The 26363-30 features a stainless steel 316L case with threaded M8 x 1 mount and stainless steel lead armor. It includes a 1.5 m (59 in) MIL-C-5015 2-pin cable, supporting operating temperatures from -40°C to +85°C and storage up to +100°C. With a frequency response of 1 Hz to 20 kHz ±3 dB and sensitivity of 3.2 mV/mm/s ±5%, the 26363-30 measures dynamic shaft displacement and vibration from 0.03 mm upwards. Shock and vibration tolerance reach 5000 g pk and 50 g rms respectively. The 30 mm mounting surface and 4.0 N-m torque allow installation at any angle. Selectable hazardous area approvals enable the 26363-30 to integrate seamlessly into 3300, 7200, and 9000 monitoring systems, delivering real-time automated data for turbines, pumps, compressors, and rotating equipment.
Applications
Turbine Shaft Vibration Tracking
The 26363-30 measures dynamic shaft movement with a frequency range of 1 Hz to 20 kHz and sensitivity of 3.2 mV/mm/s ±5%, detecting vibrations exceeding 0.03 mm. Real-time outputs feed PLCs and 3300/7200/9000 monitoring systems for automated turbine control.
Compressor Shaft Gap Monitoring
Using the 26363-30, compressors with rotational speeds up to 10 kHz can be monitored. The probe’s 0.5–3.0 m (20–118 in) cable transmits high-fidelity gap-to-voltage signals, allowing automated adjustment when shaft displacement exceeds 0.04 mm.
Pump Motor Vibration Control
The 26363-30 outputs continuous vibration and displacement data. With 5000 g shock tolerance and 50 g rms vibration limit, it triggers alarms for amplitudes above 0.05 mm, supporting automated pump load management.
Rotating Equipment Predictive Maintenance
The 26363-30 delivers real-time data to 3300/7200/9000 systems. Its 28–35 mm mounting surface and 3.0–5.0 N-m torque enable precise alignment, supporting numeric-threshold-based maintenance planning.
