Description
531X171TMAAFG2 is a Terminal Board Relay Card developed by General Electric. The connection terminals for the majority of signal I/O are present, along with interface circuitry. Cables link the board to the drive control board. There is a connection on the GE Terminal Board Relay Card for attaching several signal lines to the board. The board performs the same tasks as the original boards and is a replacement for a number of boards.
Applications
Automated assembly plant: Acts as a relay isolation between logic controllers and actuators, responsible for driving small solenoid valves or status indicator lights.
Power distribution plant: Used in secondary circuit control systems to achieve physical electrical isolation between control logic and the high-voltage side.
CNC machine tool plant: Converts low-voltage instructions from the microprocessor into contact signals for controlling machine tool auxiliary pumps or cooling fans.
Metallurgical processing plant: Control cabinets integrated into harsh industrial environments, responsible for the logic interlocking and equipment status feedback of conveyor belt systems.
Warehousing and logistics plant: Installed in the control box of high-speed sorting equipment, implementing complex path allocation logic through reliable physical contact switching.
Features
The GE manual includes advice on how to properly wire the board between the damaged board and the new board. For instance, the connector is ACOM on the old board and AN1 on the new board if a wire is connected to terminal 24 on the faulty board. On the new board, merely switch the wire from the 4TB assembly to the 3TB assembly.
The board is wrapped in a static-protective bag when you open the box, as you will see. So that static charge cannot accumulate on the board, keep it covered. Hold the board by its edges if you need to pick it up. In other words, avoid pressing the board's components or solder points when holding it.
FAQ
Q: What is the 531X171TMAAFG2?
