Based on proven eddy current measurement technology, the 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probes generate a stable analog output signal proportional to the distance between the probe tip and a conductive target surface. This non-contact measurement method eliminates mechanical wear and ensures long-term measurement stability, making these 8 mm Proximity Probes ideal for continuous online monitoring applications. The defined 2 mm (80 mils) linear range provides excellent resolution, allowing early detection of mechanical deviations such as imbalance, shaft misalignment, bearing degradation, or thermal growth.

The mechanical design of the 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probes focuses on durability, precision, and environmental resistance.
