Description

The 3500/40M Proximitor Monitor is a four-channel vibration and position monitoring module for Bently Nevada™ 3500 automation racks. The 3500/40M Proximitor Monitor accepts 1 to 4 proximity transducer inputs and conditions signals for radial vibration, thrust position, differential expansion, eccentricity, and REBAM measurements. Each channel of the 3500/40M Proximitor Monitor compares real-time values against user-defined Alert and Danger setpoints to drive automated alarm and trip outputs.

The 3500/40M Proximitor Monitor operates with 7.7 W typical power consumption and fits one full-height rear slot. Sensitivity options include 3.94 mV/μm (100 mV/mil) or 7.87 mV/μm (200 mV/mil), enabling precise displacement scaling. Amplitude accuracy is within ±0.33% of full scale typical (±1% maximum), with phase error up to 3 degrees. Frequency response is user-programmable from 0.002 Hz to 8678 Hz depending on filter selection, supporting rotor, spike, gap, and 1X vector analysis.
