Description

The 330905-00-08-10-02-00 3300 NSv Proximity Probe is a compact, high-precision eddy-current transducer specifically engineered for industrial automation and tight-space machinery monitoring. Designed for centrifugal air compressors, refrigeration compressors, process gas compressors, and other machines with limited installation clearance, this probe delivers an output voltage directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and a conductive target, enabling accurate measurement of both radial and axial position as well as dynamic vibration. With an 80 mm overall case length and 1.0-meter cable, the probe fits into restricted counter bore, side-view, and rear-view mounting locations. The M10X1 threaded case with 15 mm maximum thread engagement ensures secure installation. Constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel with a polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) probe tip, it provides superior chemical resistance for process applications. Operating across -52°C to +177°C (-62°F to +351°F), the probe offers minimal supply sensitivity (<2 mV per volt), 50 Ω output resistance, and a linear range of 1.5 mm (60 mils) with a recommended gap setting of 1.0 mm (40 mils). Patented TipLoc and CableLoc designs provide robust probe-tip bonding and 220 N (50 lb) cable pull strength, while gold-plated ClickLoc connectors ensure secure electrical connections. The 3300 NSv probe is mechanically and electrically compatible with prior 3300 RAM probes and 3000/7000-series 190 transducers, supporting seamless upgrades and high-precision automation performance in small-shaft or restricted-view applications.
